Lending of electronic books

Lending of electronic books is provided in cooperation with s Palmknihy.cz

E-books can only be borrowed through přes library catalog.

The service is provided free of charge only to registered readers who have paid the registration free.

How and on what to read e-books? As of June 29, 2022, the application is changing. It will no longer be eReading, but the Palmbook application – see post “E-books – application change“

You can find help and instructions on the website Palmknihy.cz – Nápověda.

The loan period is 31 days, after this period the e-book will automatically become unavailable, the loan period cannot be shortened. It is therefore not covered by the overdue reminder, the loan will disappear from your device on its own.

A maximum of 2 titles can be borrowed at the same time.

Multiple readers can borrow the same e-book at the same time.

What to do to borrow an e-book

• You must be a registered library patron.
• You must have an email entered in your library reader account. You can enter it with the librarian in the library.
• You must have an account with Palmknihy.cz with the same email that is listed in your library account.
